How to Use the Text to Speech Practice App

1. Select Input Method

  • Click on the "Enter Text" tab to manually enter text.
  • Click on the "Upload Text File" tab to upload a text file.

2. Process Text

  • If entering text manually, type your text into the textarea provided and click the "Process Text" button.
  • If uploading a file, select the file and click the "Process Text" button.

3. Control Reading

  • Use the "Start" button to begin reading the sentences aloud.
  • Use the "Pause" button to pause the reading.
  • Use the "Resume" button to continue reading from where it was paused.
  • Use the "Stop" button to stop the reading.
  • Use the "Previous" and "Next" buttons to navigate between sentences.

4. Adjust Settings

  • Use the "Speed" input to adjust the reading speed.
  • Use the "Delay" input to set the delay between sentences.
  • Use the "Repeat" checkbox to repeat the reading from the beginning once all sentences have been read.

5. View Sentences

  • Processed sentences will appear in the scrollable "Sentences" section.
  • The current sentence being read will be highlighted.
